It was a busy first quarter, serving 258 people. We are so grateful for the congregation’s continued support for this ministry. We continue to watch weekly for the best prices on items we stock. Despite the rising price of groceries, we have been able to take advantage of some good sales and purchase things by the case. We love being able to use the extra storage room with the fabulous shelving to keep the extra food well organized. We also keep track of all expiration dates and have items labeled accordingly.
It is truly by giving and serving in the name of Jesus that we are blessed. He never fails to provide just what we need. He truly is working in and through Wesley church family to make this a successful ministry. As you continue your prayer support for the pantry, please include great thanksgiving for God’s hand in guiding our efforts and providing the resources we need. We strive to touch each family with His love and care….please pray that we can do this effectively and bring glory and honor to Him.
