Inspired To New Heights - Grateful & Growing!

Wesley Senior High Mission Team

From the Senior High Mission Team:  We would like to thank everyone for your generosity and support. Your prayers, donations, encouragement, and example made another mission trip a great success!

The Nashville Trip

In Nashville, the Senior High Mission Team worked on many different mission projects at different mission sites. We worked for the homeless, veterans, troubled youth, the elderly, victims of human trafficking, and the uninsured to name a few.

This learning and growing experience leads us to WAUSAU!

It is now time to bring back what we have been learning on these mission trips to our very own Wausau area. While the Senior High Mission Team does different service projects in our area over the course of each year, we expanded on that with our summer mission trip for 2013 right here in Wausau!

We started our the Senior High Mission Team work on a Sunday with a prayer tour of Wausau and completed our trip the following Saturday with a fun day at the Kemnitz’s cottage. During the week, we worked with children, serving food, painting, stocking shelves, and working with the elderly for various organizations in the Wausau area. And this service led us back to….

California for the summer of 2014!

The Senior High Mission Team went back to the Dream Center for another learning and serving experience that will stay with us forever. People come to the Dream Center from all over the world to be missionaries. Did you know that the United States of America has its very own Third world country? That would be Skid Row and the Projects in South Central LA. There are more than 80,000 homeless in Los Angeles county with the concentration being in Skid Row which is only a 4.31 Square mile area. There are 50,000 more homeless than available beds and the demand for humanitarian service is overwhelming. The Dream Center Mission Trip was offered to those 15 years and older and anyone wanting to participate were required to participate in the Wausau trip in 2013.
