Wesley United Methodist Church is a local Congregation who gather to Worship, learn and grow in our Christian faith. Our Congregation is made up of families, singles, and our families come from Wausau and the surrounding communities.
We are a multi-Cultural Congregation worshipping in English and Hmong languages. We worship together for Communion the first Sunday of each month and separately most other Sundays. In the Methodist tradition our Communion Service and the sharing of the Elements are open to every Christian. Both our English and Hmong services gather in the sanctuary – English at 10:00 and Hmong at 11:30.
We believe that as United Methodist we are a part of the Body of Christ and joyfully serve in ministry to our Church, our Community, our nation and the world with Christians from other faith families to make a positive impact on our world.
We invite you will join us for Worship of the Triune God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit as we grow together in faith, love and grace.

Welcome to Wesley UMC in Wausau, Wisconsin
I am so glad you stopped by. Let me introduce myself. I have been in full-time ministry for almost 20 years. I love music and play guitar in church services. I like fishing and camping, spending time with grandchildren and reading historical fiction. I am married and have three children and five step children (all grown) and I have 11 grandchildren. My wife is also a pastor and serves in the Tomahawk area.
I believe in making the church family experience accessible to everyone. My goal is to take away barriers that might alientate new people who are coming back to church or coming to church for the first time. I encourage our church family to invite people to our events and Sunday morning worship. I look forward to meeting you.
