As some of you may know, Wesley United Methodist Church has a Dartball Team, the Wesley Gophers. The team is part of the Wausau Dartball Church league, which includes 14 different teams all around the area. The Wesley Dartball team consists of 14 players, lead by captain, John Klug. Games are held every Monday night at various churches, including at Wesley. The team’s schedule is posted on the far wall behind the scoreboard in Fellowship Hall. Last year was Wesley’s first year participating and they ended up in 1st Place! The trophy is in the gathering area on the counter. Currently Wesley has won 9 out of 18 games, which puts them in 2nd place.
Everyone (men, women and youth) are welcome to join the team! If interested, please contact a Dartball Team Member. It’s a great time for Christian Fellowship, not only with our church, but with other churches in our community.
